Senior Partner
Mark Trimmer
Mark was born in Canterbury Bankstown and completed his schooling in Croydon Park, Ermington West, and Macquarie Boys high school. From 1983 – 1992 Mark trained as a Plumber and successfully gained his licence to provide services as a Plumber, Drainer, Roofer, Gasfitter and LP Gasfitter.
Late in 1991 Mark came to the realisation that Plumbing was not his long-term vocation. An opportunity to join an accounting firm was offered and Mark gladly accepted the challenge.
[expand title="Read More"]The opportunity brought about a tree change to the country town of Condobolin. With intense interest and support from two very dependable accounting mentors who provided guidance and clear career direction, Mark completed his registration in 1996.
In 1997 Mark recognised opening his own practice would allow him the opportunity to better serve the needs of his local community, thus M D Trimmer and Co was born.
April 1998 Mark branched out and opened his part time Practice in Parkes, allowing him to continue to grow whilst still servicing his clients in Condobolin 3 days p/w, Lake Cargelligo 1 day p/w and Parkes 1 day p/w.
June 2000, with the introduction of GST, Parkes was now requiring 3 days per week, thus 41 Currajong Street was purchased, to allow Mark to provide 3 days p/w to Parkes clients.
In 2003 due to rapid growth in Parkes, Mark, his Wife Gwen and four children relocated to Parkes.
Continuing to grow the business required additional space so 30-32 Clarke Street Parkes was purchased, which remains the practice premises today.
Mark continuously attends training days and seminars to ensure his knowledge is kept up to date. His experience spanning over 29 years within the accounting field ensures you will get the best knowledge and experience available.

Office Administration
Tori Evans
Tori was born in Parkes but moved to Brisbane with her family, where she completed her primary and secondary education. During that time, she completed her Cert III in Business and participated in the YMCA’s Queensland Youth Parliament, in which she had the opportunity to sit amongst her peers in the Queensland Parliament House, debating and voicing the issues that the youth of Queensland were facing.
In 2018, she moved back to Parkes, completed her Cert III in Business Administration, and started working in the local cafes, where she learnt how to make a mean cup of coffee. You will also find her at the local pool teaching people of all ages to swim.
Since starting with M D Trimmer and Co in January 2022, Tori has completed her Cert III in Accounts Administration and become a certified Xero Advisor, beginning her accounting journey.
